If you would like to have a Christmas feel added to your community homepage, try the SET Christmas theme.
If you look on the left of your community homepage, you will see a list of themes.
Click the theme and watch the change!!

We have moved the entire site to a more powerful server.

Directory / Pages
We have added a great new feature called "Directory / Pages".
Our Directory / Pages allows you to create a page about anything you like. If you have a business, you can create a page about your business. You can create fan pages or even embed an iframe, such as a game. When you have created your page, there are many options to share it with the community for more exposure to all of our members.
Creating a Business / Directory page is free for all members.
Free members can create only 1 page. VIP members can create up to 50 pages!

To STOP SPAM on your profile please go to http://www.liveonlinechat.net/chat/members/settings/privacy and where it says "Profile Posting Privacy" make sure "All Registered Members" is unchecked.
This will stop the spammers posting spam on your profile. -

Layout Editor has been upgraded!
You can now edit your layout for your homepage and groups.
Click the Edit layout button on your homepage or group.
Change the columns and add or remove widgets.

Upgrades To LOC
A lot of work has been done on the community over the last month, you might have noticed!
The improvements include a much faster layout with ajax menus and smoothbox photo navigation for albums.
You can also choose different themes if you prefere a lighter coloured one.
Tagging in posts is another great feature, just use @ before a friends name before making a post and that friend will be notified of your post with a link back to their profile.
You will notice more "likes" widgets on your homepage and throughout the community to help members engage into more activity.
Advertising is now availble as pay per click, pay per display and pay per time, starting from only $5.
Gifts have been installed, allowing you to send a virtual gift to any of your friends.
There has been many more features including a major upgrade to the latest version of the software that runs the community.

Advertising
If you have a website or business or would like to advertise on LOC you now can from just $5 USD.
You can even promote your LOC content including your blogs, albums, events, forum topics, groups, polls and videos as an advert to get more member views.
You can create an advert and it will appear on all members profile pages, all member homepages, forum, blogs, events, polls, groups, videos and photo albums.
There are 3 choices for advertising.
1, Pay per click. You only pay when your advert is clicked. $5 will get you 100 guaranteed clicks from unique members.
2, Pay per impression. You pay for a set amount of impressions, no matter how many times your advert is clicked. $5 will get you 1000 advert impressions. (impression means display).
3, Pay per days. You pay for a set amount of days that your advert will be displayed, no matter how many impressions and clicks it gets. $5 will get you 7 days.

We are updating Photo Albums
All work has now been done on updating the photo albums.
Photo albums are now using faster software to load the photos.

Made a little improvement to the activity feed.
You can now tag someone in a post by putting @ before their name and clicking their profile photo from the list. This will create a link direct to their profile in the activity feed and they will be notified that they have been tagged in a post.
Also you can select who should see this post by clicking the lock button next to the share button.
Polls are now available for private voting in groups.
Birthdays reminders have been added.
One more thing, site should be faster now hopefully ;)

If you have trouble logging into the chat room, it is because your computer is full of flash cookies from other sites that overload your computer with flash cookies.
